North Grenville to Celebrate Franco-Ontarian Day with Flag Raising at the Municipal Centre

The Municipality of North Grenville, in collaboration with École élémentaire et secondaire publique Rivière-Rideau and Académie catholique Notre-Dame is pleased to invite the community to the Franco-Ontarian Day Flag Raising Ceremony. The event celebrates Franco-Ontarian heritage and will include participation from local schools, recognizing the contributions of Franco-Ontarians to our community and province.

Franco-Ontarian Day is celebrated annually across Ontario on September 25 to recognize the vibrant culture and history of Francophones in the province. The iconic green and white Franco-Ontarian flag, first raised in 1975, symbolizes Franco-Ontarian pride.

Members of the public and media are invited to join us for this special ceremony at the Municipal Centre as we raise the Franco-Ontarian flag, with participation from local students.
