Private Blake Williamson Memorial Hall / Armoury
Built in 1914, the building originally served as an armoury and drill hall during World War 1. In 1968, the Kemptville Fire Department moved to the building from the former Town Hall on Water Street. In 2009 the Fire Department moved to its new station on County Road 44.
The Armoury became home to the Navy League of Canada, Kemptville Branch, 338 Defiant, and is also available to rent for community use.
In 2016 the building was renamed to memorialize Private Blake Williamson, a member of the community who was killed in 2006 during his second tour of duty in Afghanistan.
Today, the Private Blake Williamson Memorial Hall is an accessible building featuring a multi-purpose room with a capacity of 60.
