Sugar Bush Trail
Beautiful year-round, this trail meanders through the Peter Wensink Forest. Choose the short or long loop, under the beautiful, mature maples of an operating sugarbush!
In the springtime you can see the sap running through the lines on its way to the sugar shack of the Campus’ Agroforestry Centre.
In summer, this trail offers a cool, shaded, nature walk where you can spot many species of birds, rabbits, and other woodland animals.
In autumn, the maples sing a harmony of yellows, oranges and reds that will take your breath away.
Although in its natural state in the winter months, this area is suitable for snowshoeing or cross-country skiing depending on snowfall levels.
Parking: Park on campus and follow the Barnside and Poplar Grove Trails or park at the south end of the rail trail on Bedell Road.
